Infos:
The Berliner with a Bulgarian – Russian heritage began in his early childhood to gain knowledge on the piano, the keyboard, the electronic organ and in ballet. Due to his classic musical education he got influenced by famous composers like Tchaikovsky, Mussorgsky and Chopin during the 80’ies.
In 1996 he accidentally got his first rap record – GZA’s “Liquid Swords” – and began from then on to spend a lot of time finding out more about the hip – hop culture. The French rap – masterpieces from NTM and IAM in 1998 finally put hip – hop into the center of attention for Pitchbull.
Encouraged by his longstanding buddy Timmi Handtrix he started to produce beats. Together with him and the French beatmaker Polo they nowadays form the producer – trio “Mindfeederz”, who will present a debut sampler in 2010.
His beats are formatively influenced by the hip – hop sound of the 90’ies and are in the meantime in a high demand by international artists.
