MC Zloty P. (aka Zloty Pippen, aka Zoomatra MC) was born in 1977 in Berlin and grew up there as well. In the following years he got infected by the hip – hop virus. “Walk this Way” ignited the topic of rap music and Public Enemy was the path he followed. In 1993 he began to start graffiti seriously and besides basketball, he got more interested in rap. To freestyle was the most fun. Encouraged by a friend, who played jungle as a DJ, Zloty P. started his career as MC ZOOM. He started out in English and put his energy into glorious gigs of the Late Night Fever Crew Residents together with the guests Bassline Generation, Bassface Sascha and Panacea.
1995 the Mid East Clan was founded, with the mission to spread hip –hop made in Berlin – Mitte. Zloty called himself Zoomatra MC and wrote together with Robin Weed his first song on a beat made by Till, “Alles was du willst” in 1996. The remix on a Tonnix – beat even made it on the “Spiel 77/” tape. Thereafter he founded together with MC Kontra the METAFA MAFIA.
After the first successful concerts in Berlin – Mitte (with CPX) at the “Milchhof”, fans and artist were infected by the live – performance – virus. Therefore larger gigs followed such as one at the Glashaus with 1000 people. Even though it took a while before the first record was released. Eventually ”Mitte Massiv” produced by Jakoby 81 with “101 ist unser Ghetto” and “Bewegt eure Körper” on the b – side of the tape came out. The video of “Mitte Massiv” even made it into the hip –hop show “Supreme” on the channel VIVA 2. Two totally sold out record release parties featuring MC MÜLLER, RAGGATACKE and PILSKILLS at the Razzle Dazzle club followed. The song itself became one of Berlin’s most famous underground songs.
In 2003, Don Jonson and Zloty P. founded the label Jonni Botten.
The debut album “Laufen lernen wie Jonni Botten“ came out the same year. It’s featuring Salia, Flavour Unique, Kaszalot & Zawodnik and Fidel Faxoe, produced by Timmi Handtrix and Jakoby 81.
Altogether performed at their record release party at the legendary SO36 club in front of 600 people.
After several personal setbacks and problems, Zloty P. is been working together with the Team Jonni Botten on the successor “2.0” of the Berlin – Mitte classic “Spiel77”, his “Der letzte MC” project with Frozen Olsen / Mr. Freez and on an exclusive Jonni Botten streettape.
